What is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy is one of the most pleasant and natural therapies around. It uses hypnosis as a tool for helping individuals resolve problem issues, heal more rapidly, become more creative, and change for the better.  I use hypnosis during regression and energy clearing sessions to help relax the body and the conscious mind. For returning clients who need reinforcement for the positive change and for the work we have already done, I also offer hypnotherapy sessions by the hour.

How does it work?

Hypnosis happens naturally whenever a person becomes deeply relaxed or highly focused. Daily, people go into light trance without even realizing it. For example, when a person daydreams, reads a captivating book, or drives while deep in thought, the outside world seems to fade away while the conscious mind is focused intently on the matter at hand. This is called being "in trance".  There are different levels of trance, and for a normal hypnotherapy session, only a moderate trance is needed. If you were undergoing surgery without anesthesia, however, you'd want to be in a very deep trance! 


During a hypnotherapy session, I use carefully worded suggestions to help you create the life you want while you are in the relaxed, natural, and safe state of hypnosis. Essentially, the idea is to re-program your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. During trance, your subconscious acts like a sponge, retaining and assimilating all the helpful suggestions.
