Session Policy


Payment is expected in full the day of the scheduled session. I only accept cash or major credit cards (no personal checks please). The cost of the session(s) will be discussed prior to the first appointment, during the complimentary consultation session. If you have a coupon or discount, please present that to me at the beginning of the session.

Rescheduling and Cancellations

A 24 hours notice should be given in the event of a cancellation or if you should need to reschedule. If you fail to contact me less than a day in advance, you will be charged a $30 cancellation fee, unless I agree that the reasons are unforeseen and supporting evidence is shown. You may call or email me if you will be unable to make your appointment. If you run late to a session, you will still be charged the full cost of the session.

Terminating a Session

You are free to end a session at any time if you feel it is necessary. You will be charged a prorated amount if you terminate a session early at the rate of $90/hour, with a minimum of $30.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. It is in my best interest and yours to keep you fully informed throughout therapy. I will be available to answer any questions during the initial consultation session, the scheduled appointments, or via phone / email.

Client Confidentiality Agreement

Please be assured that all information you share with me will be kept strictly confidential except that which I am legally obliged to report, such as a threat of injury to yourself or others. The personal information you provide to me on the Client Background Questionnaire, in conversation with me, and during the sessions are kept strictly confidential. I will keep a copy of all written notes, computer files, and session recordings for my professional record, and this information will be securely locked in a file cabinet and/or password-protected.

At our first session, I will ask you to sign a confidentiality agreement stating that you understand the above limits of confidentiality, that you acknowledge my credentials and my training, and that you understand that my services are not medical procedures and no medical benefits are being offered to you.

Please remember that the success of therapy depends on your ability to relax and desire to create change in yourself. I cannot offer any guarantee of the success of your treatment, however, I will do everything reasonable in my ability to ensure your success.

If for some reason you disagree with the confidentiality agreement, please notify me 24 hours prior to your first session. I will be happy to explain it further and answer any questions you may have.
